It’s time for a new outfit post , this one is a little different than usual. This outfit will be about the iconic white shirt from Gant and as u know I don’t like to wear white shirts but as you’ll read on , you’ll understand why I made a exception for this one!
Founder of Gant, Bernard Gantmacher was well known in New York for being an expert when it comes to shirts. And like every perfect lovestory , he fell in love with a woman specialized in shirt buttons and got married. A couple of years later in 1949 Gant was born. Since that day the iconic white shirt has always been the beating heart of the brand.
All shirts have the same features: a locker loop at the back of the shirt, flexible board and a button on the back of the collar.
The locker loop at the backwas invented back then for the sportive Ivy League students who needed something to hang on their shirts. And it’s the best invention ever ! Because of the flexible button down board you get that perfect shaped rounding. The little button at the back of the collar also invented by Gant is for keeping your tie in place.
Normally shirts are not my “thing” but this time i really loved the shirt.
I like the fabric( it didn’t make me sweat after 10min), its made of stretch cotton and it’s a slim cut with a contemporary silhouette, just perfect. The shirt can be worn for both casual as chic occasions. Just combine it with some slim fitted chino trousers and a pair of white sneakers and you’re ready to go ! Not fancy enough? Well replace the sneakers with some classic brown shoes and add a blazer and you’re ready for your next meeting !
Check out my “work” outfit below and stay tuned for some other looks i did with this Iconic piece !

A big thanks for The Hotel Brussel for the most amazing room with an even more amazing view !! The hotel is located in the Louise area, with some fancy shops as Chanel, Gucci and Dior and just a few steps away from the city center ! Not convinced? Well Mr. Barack Obama himself slept in that hotel so it has to be worth the stay !
When in Brussels you should definitely stay at this hotel and book one of the rooms withe a panoramic view !!
