Basic Navy : Scottish slang for smelly

This look is all about Belgian fashionwear and 100% eco sneakers.

Howlin’- scottish slang for smelly – is an Antwerp knitwear brand with strong roots in Scotland and Ireland. Since 1981 they have been producing quality knitwear and in 2009 they launched a new label Howlin’. The way of manufacturing remains traditional but Howlin’ offers more room for fantasy in shape and pattern.

Howlin’ strives for timeless, playful products that are made with care. So whether it is a scarf or a shaggy waistcoat; all their products are individually manufactured and hand finished by traditionally skilled craftsmen in either Scotland and Ireland using the highest quality yarns possible.

Veja is a brand of ecological and fair trade footwear and accessories. Veja works with cooperatives of small producers and social associations in Brazil and France.

The Veja trainers and accessories are made of organic cotton, wild rubber from the Amazon and vegetable-tanned leather. So how great is that ?!  The factory where Veja trainers are made in South Brazil respects the standards of work established by the International Labour Organization. 80% of workers at the factory are unionized.Veja footwear and accessories are transported by ship from Brazil to Le Havre in France, where they are then taken to Paris by boat. Logistics are managed by Ateliers Sans Frontières, a French social association which enables people who have been unemployed to return to the workforce through training. So you don’t have to worry about anything when buying these sneakers! (So why not buying multiple pairs?)

Let me know what you think about the Howlin’ cardigan and Veja sneakers. Both brands represented by Turbulence Pr.
